Spyro is a charming, beloved early PlayStation era staple that defined a generations first steps into 3D platforming. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Crash Bandicoot, this trio of classic titles were equivalent to Rare’s Banjo Kazooie or Conker’s Bad Fur Day. They were true system sellers for Sony’s first console, and remain wholly adored to this day.
Activision and Toys for Bob’s remastered collection, lovingly titled the ‘Reignited Trilogy’, is a masterclass in fan pleasing preservation and sweeping visual upgrades. The original gameplay feel has been left untouched, right down to enemy locations and level design.
